‘Your Body Is a Wonderland’ was released in 2001 and was the second single released by John Mayer from his first album, Room for Squares. It had greater popularity than Mayer's first single from the album, 'No Such Thing'.

It was rumored that that this song was inspired by his ex-girlfriend, the actress/singer Jennifer Love Hewitt. However, this is not the case as he wrote the song in 2000, and didn’t meet her until 2002.

John Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock and pop, but began a transition towards the blues in 2005 when he collaborated with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King.

Suggestion can fuel the imagination.
In the video you will see a young man singing to his girlfriend. He explains to her how he will spend the afternoon with her in bed exploring her body, and compares her body to a wonderland.

The suggestion of a lazy afternoon ‘exploring’ one another is found in the video with images that leave just the right amount to the imagination.

Why is it boiling hot?
Sometimes a suggestive set of images that leave room for your mind to make up the rest of the story can be sexier than images that fill in all the blanks.

This video has a sweet sexiness to it that tells a story of passion and tenderness. However, just for good measure, there is a bathtub scene thrown in as we all know that sexy videos have to have a least one fleeting image that makes you look for more.
